Mission Statement
COVID-19 has had a disproportionate effect on Native communities in Alaska. VaxRipple is a project that offers training to Alaska Native and American Indian community members on how to talk with friends, family, and coworkers about the benefits of vaccination for COVID-19 and other contagious respiratory illnesses – creating a “ripple effect” in the community. The goal of the project is to increase vaccination rates and reduce the burden of these conditions in Alaska Native communities throughout Alaska.
